Enrolling users to Matrix access control device
​Enroll members, staff, admins, and guests directly from Okfit
Okfit allows you to enroll gym members, trainers, receptionists, housekeeping staff, admins, and guests to the Matrix Access Control Device directly from the web portal.
✅ No third-party software installation is required.
Requirement
Matrix Biometric Access Control device must be installed
Device must be successfully integrated with Okfit
1. Member Enrollment
To enroll a member:
Go to Member Profile
Open the Overview tab
In the Member Info panel, scroll down
Click Assign Access Control
A modal will open.
Click Start Enrollment
The Matrix device will beep, indicating it is ready
Ask the member to:
Place their finger on the scanner OR
Tap/show their RFID tag OR
Show their face in the device (incase of face reader device)
Wait until a success beep is heard
✅ The member is successfully enrolled.
2. Staff Enrollment
To enroll a staff member:
Go to Staff > View Staff
In the table, go to the Action column
Click Assign Fingerprint
A modal will open.
Click Start Enrollment
The Matrix device will beep
Ask the staff to:
Place their finger on the scanner OR
Tap/show their RFID tag OR
Show their face in the device (incase of face reader device)
Wait for the success beep
✅ The staff member is successfully enrolled.
3. Admin Enrollment
To enroll an Admin:
Go to Staff > View Admins
Follow the same steps as Staff Enrollment
4. Guest Enrollment
To enroll a Guest:
Go to Staff > View Guests
Follow the same steps as Staff Enrollment
How Enrollment Works
Enrollment is initiated from the Okfit portal
The Matrix device responds with a beep when ready
A success beep confirms registration
Enrollment is synced instantly with Okfit
Important Notes
Ensure the device is online before starting enrollment
Wait for the confirmation beep before removing finger or RFID tag
Enrollment must be done one user at a time
