Send WhatsApp messages to members and enquiries at scale

Okfit allows you to send WhatsApp messages using the official WhatsApp Business APIs through MSG91, our WhatsApp service partner.

To use this feature, you must create an account on MSG91 and set up your WhatsApp Business account with Meta.

• Messages are sent using official WhatsApp Business APIs

• MSG91 handles WhatsApp API integration and approvals

• Okfit connects securely with MSG91 to send messages and track delivery

To get started, you must create an account on MSG91 using Okfit’s unique signup link.

• Use your official company domain email ID
  (Example: [email protected])

• Enter valid company and contact details

• Personal email IDs (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) should not be used

1. Go to msg91.com

2. Click on Signup

3. Select Signup with Email

4. Fill in the required details and click Next

5. Follow the on-screen instructions

6. Select WhatsApp Service to get started

Once your MSG91 account is created:

• You can follow the video guide available inside MSG91, or

• Email [email protected] to get assistance with:

  • WhatsApp Business account setup

  • Meta approval process

• WhatsApp API message credits must be purchased from Meta
  (Pricing is defined by Meta)

• MSG91 platform charges:
  ₹500 + GST per month (paid directly to MSG91)

After your MSG91 account and WhatsApp Business account are set up:

1. Log in to your MSG91 account

2. Go to Settings > AuthKey

3. Copy the AuthKey

4. Email the following details to [email protected]:

   • MSG91 AuthKey

   • WhatsApp phone number used for sending messages

The Okfit backend team will securely configure your account.

Once connected:

• WhatsApp templates created in MSG91 will automatically sync to Okfit

• You can start sending WhatsApp messages directly from Okfit

• Bulk messaging will be enabled for members and enquiries

To view message delivery status inside Okfit:

1. Log in to your MSG91 account

2. Go to WhatsApp

3. Select Webhook ( New)

4. Click on + Create Webhook button

5. In the Create Webhook form enter the following details

   1. Wehbook Name: Okfit Webhook

   2. Select Template: Custom Webhook

   3. Select Service: Whatsapp

   4. Select Event: On Outbound Report Received

   5. Method: POST

   6. URL: https://portal.okfit.in/api/v1/wa_delivery_report/msg91

   7. Content Type: JSON

We now need to get the Authorization Key to add to the Headers. Please follow the below steps

6. To get the Authorization Key, login to Okfit from your Super Admin Account and goto Account Settings > Authkeys and Webhooks > Copy the Authorization Key.

Now, switch back to MSG91 and under the Headers tab add details as below:

1. Key: Authorization

2. Value: Bearer (the Authorization Key copied from step 6.)

Once configured, delivery reports will be visible in:
Activity Reports > WhatsApp
