How to assign Membership to a Member?

Covers: assigning membership package, setting start date, assigning multiple memberships


After adding a member, you must assign them a membership to record what they have purchased and to track their validity. A member can have multiple active memberships at the same time.

 

Steps to assign a membership

1.     Open the member's profile page

2.     Click Assign Membership

3.     Select the membership package from the dropdown

4.     Set the start date

5.     Enter the payment amount and mode (Cash, Card, UPI, Online, etc.)

6.     Click Save — the membership is now active and an invoice is automatically generated

 

Note: If you have biometric access control, always ensure the biometric device is powered on and connected to the internet before assigning a membership. If the device is offline during assignment, the member may be denied entry — see the Access Control section for how to fix this.
