Steps to get local IP address for the biometric device

Use this to get the local IP address of the biometric device required to complete the integration with Okfit

For Matrix COSEC VEGA and Matrix ARGO FACE

  1. On the device, tap on Menu

  2. Goto About Device → Connectivity

  3. If the device is connected to the internet via LAN cable, see the LAN IP and if the device is connected to the internet via WiFi, see the WiFi IP

  4. Note down this IP address

For Matrix COSEC PATH

  1. On your computer / laptop that is connected on the same internet network as the biometric device, install Advance IP Scanner (https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/)

  2. Once installed, run the IP scanner

  3. The devices connected to your internet network will be shown in the list

  4. Look for the device with name Matrix Technologies

  5. Note down its IP address
