How to use eSSL with Okfit
Covers: attendance only, Generate ESSL ID, vs Matrix
eSSL devices can record attendance into Okfit. They do not replace Matrix for full door access control.
Matrix vs eSSL
Matrix — enroll from Okfit; attendance + door access
eSSL — link each person with an ESSL ID; attendance pull; door behavior depends on your eSSL setup outside Okfit
eSSL Compatibility Check
Before integration can be confirmed, your biometric device needs to be configured.
Step 1: Configure Your Device
To integrate your device with your Okfit account, we required the below information from you:
IP Address of device
Serial Number of device
How to get IP Address?
1. Press MENU button
2. Select COMM option on screen
3. Click OK button to enter
4. Select ETHERNET option on screen
5. Click OK button to enter
6. Get the IP address
How to get Serial Number?
1. Press MENU button on device
2. Select SYSTEM INFORMATION
3. Select DEVICE INFORMATION
4. Get Serial number
Once you have the IP Address and Serial Number, please share them to [email protected]
Next, you need to configure ADMS on the biometric device. Please see the below steps:
How to configure ADMS?
1. Press MENU button on device
2. Select COMM option in screen
3. Select ADMS and click OK to enter
4. Enable Domain Name: OFF
5. Server Address: 101.53.157.243
6. Server Port: 8080
7. Enable Proxy Server: OFF
If configuration is successful, we should be able to see your device status as online on our e-push server.
Link a member (or staff / guest)
1. Confirm eSSL is enabled for your gym (Okfit support sets this up)
2. Open the person profile
3. If ESSL ID shows Not available, click Generate ESSL ID
4. Enroll that ID / fingerprint on the eSSL device per your device manuals
5. Attendance for that person can then sync into Okfit
Limitations
Attendance Synchronization
Attendance is synced approximately every 5 minutes.
Real-time attendance updates are not available.
Instant attendance pop-up notifications are not supported.
Member Registration
Member registration must be performed manually on the biometric device.
Members added in Okfit will not automatically sync to your device.
Membership Validity
Membership validity must also be managed manually on the biometric device.
Membership expiry or renewal in Okfit will not automatically update the device.
Tips
Generate ESSL ID also appears on staff and guest profiles when eSSL is on
For door access + automatic validity deny on expiry, prefer Matrix
